An installation sequence report (a.k.a., a sequencing sheet) is a report which sets forth the expected sequential order of when the individual flooring pieces are to be installed relative one to another. An installation sequence report is often produced by carpet manufacturers which have milled custom-made carpet which must be installed in a particular order. The installation sequence report commonly lists each roll number, roll width, roll length, pattern number, and sequence number. Multiple rolls may bear the same sequence number. Stated in other words, several rolls may be listed as Sequence 1, which means that all Sequence 1 rolls should be installed before all Sequence 2 rolls .
An installation sequence report may be created by a flooring retailer for the labor team so that an installation is installed in the best order or sequence.
