electronic Jacquard loom

An electronic Jacquard loom, is a computer-control, mechanical loom used to weave high-end carpet and other textiles.  Jacquard looms, named after the inventor Joseph Marie Jacquard, possess a hallmark capability of complicated, large, asymmetrical designs in carpet.  Jacquard looms produce some of the finest woven broadloom carpets in the world, carpets suitable for the most luxurious hotels and superlative buildings.

Carpets produced on an electronic Jacquard loom are called EJs.  As carpet installers, we enjoy the customary accuracy in the patterns and flexibility in the backing of EJs.

Couristan, Desso, Tai Ping, and other carpet mills use electronic Jacquard looms to make woven carpet.
