Spot Remover

Spot Out® is a professional strength formula spotter that will easily remove most household spots and spills. Carpets are left clean and fresh without soil attracting residues. Spot Out® is safe on all carpets including those that are stain resistant. Spot Out® is also great on water-safe surfaces like rugs, upholstery, clothing, etc. We tested different over-the-counter products. Some do a great job at removing stains, but permanently damage the carpet backing by delamination or distort the dye. We've saturated different types of carpet with Spot Out® for testing purposes and experience no delamination or discoloration of the yarn. On one occasion, a customer of ours called us out to deal with a dog vomit stain on light beige carpet. The dog had become sick after getting into chocolate cake. This 10"x10" nasty mess was dried into the carpet by the time we arrived. To demonstrate the mastery of Spot Out®, one of our technicians removed the stain armed with only a white hand towel and Spot Out®. The vomit stain came completely out without any water or vacuum suction. Odor Elimination - Un-Duz-It®
In addition to Wolfe Flooring's comprehensive odor removal procedure, we offer a product you can use. Un-Duz-It® has been proven to be totally effective in correcting pet odor problems such as urine, vomit, feces and other organic related stains. Un-Duz-It® is not available in pet stores, but is offered exclusively through professional carpet cleaners like Wolfe Flooring. This wonderful product utilizes enzymes (i.e., complex organic substances formed in the cells of plants and animals) as catalysts for the decomposition of organic-related odors. Un-Duz-It® also contains performance enhancing ingredients which increase the efficacy of the enzymes. The result is that the source of the organic odors are devoured naturally. The two part set (pre-spotter & enzymes) comes with complete instructions and an injection tube to allow deep penetration of the carpet pile. Carpet Rake
A common characteristic of cut pile carpet is that vacuum strokes and foot prints are evident due to light reflection and shading. A carpet rake is the perfect tool to groom the pile in one direction to prepare for guests.

Underlayment
There are three main benefits from underlayment. First, rugs on a hard surface like wood or ceramic tile feel better with additional cushion. After all, that's why we install cushion under carpet. Second, underlayment decreases the movement of rugs. For some rugs, decreased traveling simply deals with an irritant. Other rugs, however, need an underlayment to prevent slipping that can result in a bruised tailbone or worse. Finally, some rugs have a high risk of dye transfer. Such a transfer can be prevented by a good underlayment. Wolfe Flooring stocks two underlayment products: Dura Hold Plus and Rug-Chek Plus. We can also special order a host of other products. You'll receive your new underlayment custom sized about 1-2 inches shy of the rug's full length and width. Dura Hold Plus and Rug-Chek Plus are both hypo-allergenic and guaranteed to not discolor your subfloor (provided the subfloor is not vinyl). Finally, you can easily wash these products with a garden hose. Underlayment is sold by the square foot. Please describe your situation and we'll recommend a solution and price. You may also need an attached backing if this was a fabricated rug from carpet remnant.

Dura Hold Plus
Dura Hold Plus is our more popular underlayment. Dura Hold Plus can accommodate rugs as wide as 12 feet in one piece. The top of Dura Hold Plus is made of pad similar to hair fiber pad (a.k.a., hartex fiber cushion) with treads impressed upon the surface. The ridges provide the traction for the underside of the rug. The bottom of Dura Hold Plus is made of purple rubber. The bottom traction is intensified by the polygon shaped bumps. The overall thickness is 1/4 inch (0.25 inch). If your rugs deserve the most luxurious underlayment, Dura Hold Plus if for you.

Rug-Chek Plus
Rug-Chek Plus is a wonderful alternative to Dura Hold Plus for those who want to save a little money or who need a thinner underlayment. Rug-Chek Plus can accommodate rugs as wide as 6 feet in one piece. The top and bottom of Rug-Chek Plus is a net construction of green rubber. The overall thickness is about 1/8 inch (0.13 inch); therefore, this underlayment doesn't provide as much cushion as Dura Hold Plus. BlueNetSureGrip is for thick rugs that need grip, but not that much extra cushion.

Teflon® Advanced by DuPont
Teflon® Advanced carpet protector is the newest technology introduced by DuPont to help keep your carpet looking cleaner, brighter, fresher, and newer longer! Teflon® Advanced shields your carpet from dirt, making vacuuming easier and more effective. Teflon®, used by even NASA, is applied as a liquid, and then it dries into a solid. It works by forming a bond to each fiber which shields the fiber from dirt and repels stains.

Moldings and other trim products make flooring work look complete. Tile, carpet, wood and V.C.T. need to be finished off at the thresholds where two different products meet and also where these products meet walls, etc. There are many different types of moldings and trim pieces. We've included a few commonly used products below.

Silver Pin Metal
Pin metal is typically used in residential or commercial settings where carpet meets V.C.T. or sheet vinyl. This product also comes in a gold color.

Vinyl Transitional Molding

Vinyl or Rubber Wall Base

Carpet Wall Base
Carpet wall base is typically used in commercial buildings as the wall trim to match the new carpet. Wolfe Flooring machine sews carpet in-house to create carpet base from the same carpet that you've selected for your floor. The end result looks fabulous.
