Pet Treatment

Our pet treatment is simple and powerful!  

Are you ready to remove those pet odors?  It's time to freshen your carpet!  Do you have an infant or toddler who crawls on the carpet?  You no longer have to be embarrassed by family or friends who notice the smell of your carpet when they lie down or sit on your floor to watch TV.

Our system works on all organic stains, such as urine, milk, vomit, etc.  Most often we are asked to use our special treatment on pet urine accidents.

When pets have accidents, the urine goes into the carpet, the carpet backing, the cushion, and down to the concrete (or, wood) substrate.  The urine goes in as a liquid, and then dries into a crystallized form.  When homeowners discover the problem, they will blot up as much of the urine as possible.  The owner may spray the area with an over-the-counter enzyme product.  These are both good ideas.  The problem is that none of the urine in the backing, in cushion, or in the substrate is being removed.   Only the amount of urine that is absorbed with the blotting is removed which is all surface related contamination.

Our pet treatment is a two-part solution.  The first part is a product designed to re-liquefy the dried urine.  The cleaning solution is poured on the affected area to the point of 100 percent saturation--literally sloshy wet.  The idea here is that we want our cleaning solution to fully contact the same areas infected by the urine.  Then, with our powerful vacuum system and special attachment, we extract out the cleaning solution with the urine residue.  The vacuum strength reaches through the cushion and carpet backing all the way down to the concrete.  It almost seems unbelievable!

The second part of the process is to treat the target area with an enzyme.  Again, we pour on the enzyme to fully saturate the area down to the concrete.  Then, we vacuum up the excess enzyme leaving the area only mildly damp.  It's good for us to leave a little of the enzyme residue because it will continue to work after we are gone.  However, we do not want to leave the target area saturated.

No method can guarantee 100% removal of urine residue. However, our pet treatment method is the best solution you can have apart from a complete overhaul such as pulling the carpet back, treating the concrete (or, wood) substrate, treating and cleaning the back side of the carpet and then re-installing the carpet and treating and cleaning the top side.  We offer this more involved procedure, yet our two-part cleaning solution has given us countless happy customers that we are rarely in need of the invasive method of removing pad and reinstalling.
