Grout Colorants
Our waterborne, epoxy grout colorants can last up to 15 years and are designed for sanded grout, unsanded grout, and epoxy grouts. Furthermore, our grout colorants can be used on interior or exterior applications. So, whether you want to change the color of the grout inside the bathroom or kitchen or out on the veranda, we have your solution.
Preparations
- The surface must be very clean, especially of loose coatings on the grout lines.
See

- Old colorants (if previously applied) must be stripped off for maximum success. (There are exceptions to this.)
Follow-up Activities and Initial Maintenance
- A second application of grout colorant may have to be applied depending the color change requested and the porosity of the grout.
- Do not walk directly on grout lines for 48 hours.
- Mopping may be needed to remove slight smudges or haze.
- Do not scrub the new colorant directly for 20 days.
- Never clean grout lines with solvents.
